(UK Defence Journal) George Allison - A Royal Air Force Reaper remotely piloted aircraft eliminated a known ISIS terrorist in northwestern Syria on June 10, the UK Ministry of Defence said on July 9. The Reaper crew tracked the individual riding a motorcycle and waited until the area was clear of civilians before launching a successful Hellfire missile strike. RAF aircraft continue to fly regular patrols over Syria to counter persistent threats from ISIS elements.
