(Israel Hayom) Shirit Avitan Cohen - The opening of central distribution centers for humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians in Gaza has begun. The first is in Rafah, near the humanitarian zone in southwestern Gaza. It aims to supply essentials to civilians in a war zone, reduce Western pressure, and counter Hamas's takeover of aid shipments. A secured access route protected by the IDF was opened from the Al-Mawasi area to the distribution center. Families are required to undergo security screening, after which they register and receive weekly supply packages for their household.
