(Ha'aretz) Jonathan Lis - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Sunday that Israel will immediately resume the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza. "At the recommendation of the IDF, and due to the operational need to enable the expansion of the intensified fighting to defeat Hamas, Israel will bring in a basic quantity of food for the population to ensure a famine crisis does not develop in Gaza," the Prime Minister's Office said. Israel "will act to deny Hamas the ability to take control of the humanitarian aid distribution." A senior official said the decision is "a temporary, one-week measure" until the establishment of humanitarian aid distribution centers is completed.2025-05-20 00:00:00Full Article
