(JNS) Alex Traiman - During President Trump's meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu at the White House on April 7, Trump said, "We are a friend of Israel. As you know, I always say that I'm by far the best president that Israel has ever had. And it's an honor to be so, and to be so proud. We have many friends in Israel. They are not in an easy area; it doesn't go easy, but we are helping them. And likewise, they have been helping us very much." Trump spent a major portion of the press briefing talking about the plight of the remaining Israeli hostages and the barbaric conditions in which they are being held. It is clear the issue has struck a major nerve. Regarding Iran's nuclear program, Trump said, "If the talks aren't successful with Iran, I think Iran is going to be in great danger, and I hate to say, great danger, because they can't have a nuclear weapon. You know, it's not a complicated formula. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon...and if the talks are not successful, I actually think it would be a very bad day for Iran if that's the case." 2025-04-10 00:00:00Full Article
