(Wall Street Journal) Lorenzo Vidino - The Trump administration established the Joint Task Force October 7, a unit within the Justice Department devoted to investigating Hamas activities in and outside the U.S. The unit now has the painstaking task of bringing to justice Hamas leaders and all those involved in the Oct. 7, 2023, massacre and to dismantle Hamas activities in the U.S., where supporters have established extensive fundraising and propaganda networks. Last September, the House Ways and Means Committee accused several U.S.-based organizations of spreading antisemitism and being financially linked to Hamas, including American Muslims for Palestine and Students for Justice in Palestine.
