(Washington Institute for Near East Policy) David Pollock - According to a Saudi public opinion poll conducted on July 25-August 15, 2022, 59% agree that "We cannot count on the United States these days, so we should look more to Russia and China as partners." 55% say good relations with China, and 52% say good relations with Russia, are important to the country, compared with 40% who say good relations with the U.S. are important. Regarding normalization with Israel, 42% agree that "people who want to have business or sports contacts with Israelis should be allowed to do so."
