(USA Today) Bart Jansen - Sens. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) and James Inhofe (R-Okla.) announced Monday that they drafted a letter to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen that was signed by all 100 senators urging the expansion of Customs and Border Protection's Global Entry screening program to Israel. Global Entry is an expedited program for customs and immigration screening for travelers entering the U.S. from abroad. About 410,000 Israelis visited the U.S. in 2016 and spent $1.7 billion, according to the Department of Commerce. The program is already available in more than a dozen countries including Argentina, India, Mexico, Panama, and South Korea. 2018-02-28 00:00:00Full Article
