(Jerusalem Post) Tovah Lazaroff - The U.S. was the only country to stand with Israel at the UN Human Rights Council on Friday and to vote against four resolutions that dealt with the Palestinian territories and the Golan Heights. U.S. Ambassador Keith Harper said, "We are disappointed that this council continually singles out Israel for criticism without acknowledging the violent attacks directed at its people, nor the obligations and difficult steps required of both sides.
