Time to Change Course


[Ynet News] Lt.-Gen. (res.) Moshe Ya'alon - The Six-Day War changed the face of the Middle East. From a historic perspective it can be viewed as marking the beginning of the end of national-secular Arab ideology, which in turn encouraged the emergence of Islamic-Jihadist ideologies. However, I am of the opinion that more than anything, the Six-Day War influenced the way Israelis perceived themselves. It also impacted internal discourse pertaining to border conflicts and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
