(Washington Times) Alberto R. Gonzales - in the past century Christians have gone from comprising 20% of the Middle East population to just 4%. In Israel, however, the Christian population is growing. Israel provides Christians with security, freedom of worship, excellent education, employment, health care and other rights and opportunities beyond what is available in many parts of the Muslim world. The United States must stand by Israel on the front lines against the terrorism and intolerance of Islamic extremism.
