Iran's Leaders Emphasize Limitations of the Nuclear Agreement


(Washington Institute for Near East Policy) Mehdi Khalaji - Iran's leaders all seem confident that the regime did not surrender any of its essential nuclear activities in Geneva. In his first interview with state television after returning from Geneva, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stated, "None of the nuclear facilities will be shut down." He also noted that "all of our confidence-building actions and commitments are reversible, and we can undo them in a matter of a few weeks." The writer is a senior fellow at The Washington Institute.
