(Ministry of Defense) Terrorism is a crime against humanity. The State of Israel has not only the right but the obligation to do everything in its power to lessen the impact of terrorism on its citizens. The Seam Zone is a way to reduce terrorist attacks - whether in the form of explosives-rigged vehicles or homicide bombers. The Seam Zone is also known as the Security Fence because for most of its way it is a fence. A wall was built only in a few particularly dangerous areas.
