(JTA/Jerusalem Post) According to a French poll published Monday by Liberation newspaper, 43% of French people view Arafat as a "hero of national resistance" while 27% called him a terrorist; 10% said he fit both categories. The poll also found that three times as many French people hold Sharon more responsible for Middle East violence than Arafat.
