The faster and more systematically Israel forces Hamas to replace its leaders, the less effective the murderous organization will be. The IDF proved this, to a significant degree, in Judea and Samaria where the Al-Aksa Brigades are now commanded by bush league leaders and ordinary gangsters. The continued, systematic elimination of Yassin's deputies and potential heirs will not only lower the level of their leadership but also weaken their operations - from fundraising and building weapons through recruiting terrorists.
