Back
(New York Times) Steven Erlanger - Kobi Hadad is growing only spring onions, cucumbers, and coriander now. If the Israeli government has its way, the Hadads and the 9,000 or so other Israeli settlers in the Gaza Strip will be evacuated against their will, beginning in mid-August. After 20 years here, they do not know where they will go. The Hadads, like most of the settlers in Gaza, are resolute but nonviolent and will not resist the soldiers. Two of their children are serving. But they intend to stay until the last moment, to register their protest. 2005-05-20 00:00:00Full Article
