(Tel Aviv University and Israel Democracy Institute) The March 2011 Peace Index survey found that the overwhelming majority of Israeli Jews (70%) believe that with the Middle Eastern upheavals, the situation at the moment is unclear and therefore it is better for Israel not to take any initiatives at this time.
