Ritual Bath Used by Temple Pilgrims Found in Jerusalem


[Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs] An impressive ritual bath from the Second Temple period was recently uncovered in archaeological excavations the Israel Antiquities Authority is carrying out in the Western Wall tunnels. The edifice, one of the most magnificent structures from the Second Temple period ever to be uncovered, is built of very delicately dressed stones and the architectural decoration is of the highest quality.
