(Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs) Yoni Ben Menachem - Escalating terrorist attacks against Israelis and attacking Israel with rockets during Passover from Gaza, southern Lebanon, and Syria are only the first stages in the war of attrition by the Axis of Resistance led by Iran. The current round of fighting is only the first stage in Iran's phased plan to destroy Israel and the next stages will follow. Senior political officials in Jerusalem say that the Israeli military response to the rocket attacks from Gaza and southern Lebanon was careful and measured in a way that would not lead to further escalation.
