Amos Gilad, former director of the Israeli Defense Ministry's Political-Military Affairs Bureau, told Newsweek that Israel needs "the good will of Russia" to operate freely in Syria. Nobody will help us....We need to keep this strategic policy in order to protect Israel." Gilad added, "Ukraine is becoming a laboratory for the quality of the strategic weapons of Iran.
