With more museums per capita than any other country and some of the world's most important historical and archeological sites, Israel has emerged as a hub for art, history, and culture. This portal - five years in the making - provides visitors with unlimited access to more than 63,000 photographs, items, and exhibits with a touch of a button. It features works of art, archeological artifacts, extensive Judaica, and original historical documents from prehistoric times to today. The portal also gives visitors access to millions of items featured in Europeana, the European digital cultural library.
