(AP-Chicago Tribune) Syrian government forces and allied militias had captured nearly 3/4 of rebel-held areas of Aleppo by Tuesday, less than two weeks after launching a ground offensive, according to the Syrian military. An intense aerial offensive had preceded the ground troops' advances.
