(New York Times) Farnaz Fassihi - Iran launched 14 missiles at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar on Monday in retaliation for the American attack on three Iranian nuclear sites, but they caused no casualties as 13 were intercepted. President Trump, saying that Iran had given advance warning of the strike, immediately thanked Tehran "for giving us early notice, which made it possible for no lives to be lost, and nobody to be injured." Trump described Iran's barrage in Qatar as "a very weak response" and said he hoped "they've gotten it all out of their system." Later, he announced that Israel and Iran had agreed to a ceasefire.
