[AFP] There are currently 5.55 million Jews living in Israel and 5.3 million in the U.S., the Jewish Agency said Friday. The two countries account for the vast majority of the world's 13.3 million Jews. The third-largest community resides in France, which has a Jewish population of 490,000. Some 20,000 Jews moved to Israel in the past 12 months.
