Danny Citrinowicz, a research fellow at the Institute for National Security Studies at Tel Aviv University, said, "If in the past, there was a low probability that Israel would attack nuclear facilities without American backing, this has now changed. Looking into the future, with Hizbullah now weakened and Israel's ability to operate freely in Iranian airspace, as Iran progresses with its nuclear program, this option can no longer be ruled out. Israel broke its fear barrier with this attack."
