President Biden, 17 Other World Leaders Call for Release of Hostages Held by Hamas

(USA Today) Michael Collins - In a joint statement, President Joe Biden and the leaders of 17 other countries whose citizens are being held by Hamas in Gaza called Thursday for the release of the hostages. The statement was issued by the U.S., Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Thailand and the UK. A senior U.S. official said the fate of the deal rests with "one guy," Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, who has refused to accept it.
