The Staggering Cost of Israel's Defense Against Iran's Missile Attack

(Ynet News) Alexandra Lukash - Brig.-Gen. Reem Aminoach, former financial advisor to the IDF chief of staff, estimated the cost of operating Israel's sophisticated defense systems on Saturday night to be "on the order of 4-5 billion shekels" ($1.06 billion-$1.33 billion). "Add up the costs - $3.5 million for an Arrow missile, $1 million for a David's Sling [missile], such and such costs for airplanes."
