Italian Police Arrest Three Palestinians on Terrorism Charges

(Reuters) Italian police said Monday they have arrested three Palestinians in l'Aquila, 120 km. northeast of Rome, who had set up a cell linked to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and were planning attacks in an unspecified country. The Brigades are considered a terrorist group by Israel, the EU and the U.S. One of the three men is wanted by Israel and an Italian court is examining an extradition request for him.
