(Ha'aretz) Amos Harel - On Monday, the 59th day of the war in Gaza, two Palestinian rocket barrages were fired at central Israel, while rocket fire intermittently hit the western Negev. In northern Gaza, Israeli forces are gradually conquering the Shujaiyeh neighborhood of Gaza City. The local Hamas battalion commander and most of the company commanders have been killed. The Palestinian resistance in Shujaiyeh and in Jabalya further north involves small squads of armed men emerging from tunnels to attack Israeli troops.
