(Times of Israel) Golani Infantry Brigade soldiers fought off a vicious midnight ambush Wednesday night against Hamas terrorists who fired missiles, set off explosive devices, and hurled grenades at the forces, Army Radio reported. The Hamas gunmen emerged from tunnels and attacked with anti-tank missiles, mortars and drones. They tried to enter the armored personnel carriers as Israeli troops fought them off in bitter close-combat fighting, calling in air and artillery strikes to assist them. 20 terrorists were killed, while there were no Israeli fatalities in the 3-hour battle.
