(Ynet News) Over 50,000 Jewish worshippers participated in the Priestly Blessing (Birkat Kohanim) ceremony during the Sukkot festival at the Western Wall Plaza in Jerusalem on Monday morning for the 53rd year. In keeping with tradition, hundreds of Kohanim (Jewish priests descended from High Priest Aaron) blessed the large congregation. The event took place in the presence of Israel's chief rabbis.
