(Syrian Observer-Turkey) The Syrian opposition al-Souria Net, quoting Israel's Channel 11, reported that recent Israeli airstrikes on Damascus were aimed at Hizbullah's Golan Unit. The airstrikes targeted a training camp for the unit near Damascus where individuals received training to carry out operations against Israel. The strikes also hit a Hizbullah headquarters in southern Syria involved in planning attacks against Israel and the U.S. in the region.
