(Ha'aretz) Ofer Aderet - Israel's population numbers 9.727 million people, the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) said Monday. 6.814 million Jews constitute 73.5% of the population. Arabs number 2 million, or 21%. 535,000 people are registered as "other" - non-Arab Christians, followers of other faiths, and those with no religious affiliation.
