Abraham Accords, Contact with Israelis, Remain Unpopular in Egypt

(Washington Institute for Near East Policy) Mohamed Abdelaziz - According to a new Egyptian public opinion poll, 82% see the Abraham Accords between Israel and four Arab states as at least "somewhat" negative, while only 12% viewed its effects as positive. The Egyptian public also shows very little support for "normalization" with Israelis. Only 11% agree that "people who want to have business or sports contacts with Israelis should be allowed to do so."
