Israeli Students Discover 3,000-Year-Old Egyptian Amulet on School Trip

(Jerusalem Post) A 3,000-year-old scarab - an ancient amulet and impression seal - was discovered during a school field trip to Azor, about 7 km. from Tel Aviv, the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) announced on Wednesday. Carved into the scarab is the picture of an Egyptian pharaoh.
