U.S. Delaying German Procurement of Israel's Arrow 3 Missile Defense System

(Israel Hayom) Ariel Kahana - Israel has worked for months to convince the U.S. to allow the sale of its Arrow 3 missile defense system to Germany and other countries. The initial request by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was made half a year ago. U.S. approval of the deal is needed since 80% of the system's development costs came from U.S. In addition, Arrow 3 includes technological components developed in the U.S. Washington has so far neither confirmed nor vetoed the move.
