(Jerusalem Post-Times of Israel) Khaled Abu Toameh - Hamas scored a landslide victory in the student council election at Birzeit University in the West Bank on Wednesday, winning 28 of the 51 seats. The ruling Fatah faction got only 18 seats, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) won 5. In the previous election in 2019, both Hamas and Fatah garnered 23 seats.
