(Jerusalem Post) Khaled Abu Toameh - Thousands of Palestinians attended the funeral in Jenin on Friday of top Hamas official Wasfi Kabaha, 62, who died of Covid-19 last week. Dozens of masked gunmen belonging to the armed wings of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad participated in the funeral. The mass funeral was seen by Palestinians as a show of force and a direct challenge to the Palestinian Authority. Kabaha, who spent 14 years in Israeli prison for security-related offenses, was an outspoken critic of the PA.
