(Al-Monitor) Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas told the UN General Assembly on Friday that his administration would no longer recognize Israel if it did not withdraw from the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem within one year. Gilad Erdan, Israel's Ambassador to the UN, said Abbas "proved once again that he is no longer relevant. Those who truly support peace and negotiations do not threaten delusional ultimatums from the UN platform."
