Iran's New President Appoints Wanted Terrorist as Interior Minister

(AP) Iran's new president, Ebrahim Raisi, has appointed Gen. Ahmad Vahidi as his interior minister, state TV reported Wednesday. Vahidi is a former defense minister blacklisted by the U.S. in 2010 and wanted by Interpol over his role in the 1994 bombing of a Jewish cultural center in Buenos Aires that killed 85 people and wounded hundreds.
