U.S. Provides $135 Million to UNRWA

(i24News) The Biden administration paid $135 million to the UN Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) on Saturday after an agreement signed last week that condemned anti-Israel hatred. UNRWA claimed it was committed to ensuring that its funds were not transferred to individuals engaged in terrorism or used to support terrorism. UNRWA announced the U.S. grant after a visit by U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Israeli and Palestinian Affairs Hady Amr to Israel and the Palestinian territories.
