(Times of Israel) U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin told the Senate Appropriations Committee Thursday that the Pentagon will request more interceptor missiles for Israel's Iron Dome anti-missile batteries. The air defense batteries saw heavy use during 11 days of intense fighting between Israel and Gaza terror groups in May. Asked if the Pentagon supported restocking Israel, Austin answered, "Absolutely."
