(CAMERA) Ricki Hollander - On June 2, 2021, the American popular science magazine Scientific American published an "analysis article" that had been circulated as a petition by anti-Israel BDS activists on social media. Some readers responded with surprise that the publication's editors cast aside the scientific tradition of fact-based inquiry in order to present anti-Israel propaganda disguised as an analytic article. On June 14, the editors announced: "This article fell outside the scope of Scientific American and has been removed."
