(Calcalist) Udi Etsion - Israel's Elbit Systems UK subsidiary has been awarded a 12-year, $166 million contract from the UK Ministry of Defense for the Royal Navy Training Program. Elbit will aid in the modernization of the shore-based training of the Royal Navy including the establishment of the Future Submarine School. Elbit also will develop and deliver a new Combat Systems Operator Trainer for the school. Elbit has previously provided the Royal Air Force with training aircraft and has sold drones to the British Army. Elbit has also recently been selected to provide the MORPHEUS Battlefield Management Application for the British Army.
