(Washington Post) John Hudson - The U.S. will designate Yemen's Houthi rebels as a foreign terrorist organization. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced his intention to blacklist the group, including leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi. Pompeo said the designations are intended to hold the group "accountable for its terrorist acts, including cross-border attacks threatening civilian populations, infrastructure, and commercial shipping."
