In Poland, New Sobibor Museum Memorializes Victims through Unearthed Belongings

(Times of Israel) Matt Lebovic - After more than a decade of planning and construction, a new museum was recently inaugurated at Sobibor, the former German Nazi death camp in Poland where 180,000 Jews were murdered. The heart of the museum is a display of 700 items - the personal belongings of Sobibor's victims - which were unearthed since 2000.
