(Defense News) Alexander Bratersky - Russia will establish a naval logistic center and repair yard in Sudan under an agreement signed on Nov. 6, Russia's first military base in Africa since the collapse of the Soviet Union. The base will host up to 300 personnel and can accommodate four naval vessels.
