(Asharq Al-Awsat) Israeli Intelligence Minister Eli Cohen has revealed that Israel has carried out secret contacts with Niger to reach an agreement on the normalization of relations. Niger is the largest Muslim country in West Africa. The report said Chad, also a Muslim state, will conclude a normalization agreement with Israel as well.
