(JTA) Marcy Oster - The president of Malawi, Lazarus Chakwera, announced Saturday that his country would open an embassy in Jerusalem as part of a larger expansion of the country's diplomatic representation abroad. Malawi currently does not have a diplomatic mission in Israel.
