(JTA) Ron Kampeas - The U.S. Senate and House of Representatives last week approved $3.8 billion in defense assistance for Israel as part of the National Defense Authorization Act. The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) said the money "will help Israel protect itself against continuing security threats."
