(Philippine News Agency) Priam Nepomuceno - The Philippine Navy is to acquire eight Shaldag-class patrol boats built by Israel Shipyards to replace its patrol craft in use since the mid-1990s. Four of the boats will be built in Israel, while four will be constructed in the Cavite Naval Yard in the Philippines.
